Additional Services
If a primary school has purchased a subscription to the service, we welcome requests for additional time in order to provide any of the services listed in our package.
If a school feels that they require something that is not listed, they can contact the LSS to discuss their needs and the support may be available subject to negotiation and the availability of staff.
Examples of work which have been purchased on this basis include:
- Assessments of pupils to support requests for special arrangements for SATS.
- Training sessions for groups of teaching assistants to support performance management targets.
- Training for volunteers who work in the schools.
- Working with groups of parents to help them support their children’s learning.
- Support for new SENCOs.
- SENCO cover.
- Working with governors.
- Staff meetings or inset session on specific aspects of special needs.
