Learning Support
The Learning Support Service is a team of specialist teachers and assistants who work with children, families and schools. We aim to support schools and families in meeting the needs of pupils with a range of learning difficulties. Work includes:
- Specialist assessment of individual learning.
- Advice about teaching strategies.
- Project work to raise the attainment of groups of pupils.
- Support for Special Needs Coordinators in managing their responsibilities under the SEN Code of Practice.
